Praba Soundararajan, Ph.D. - Founder

Praba is a neuroscientist with dyslexia who gets to develop his ideas and inventions every day. Growing up in India, his learning disability resulted in his loss of confidence and self-esteem. To understand his learning disability, he pursued an education in neuroscience. To inspire children with learning disabilities to overcome their challenges, he started writing stories tied to hands-on projects, with a mission to nurture their creativity and realize their dyslexic strengths. Praba believes, if it helps a challenged child, it will benefit ALL children!

Heather Forde - Creative Director

I am a children’s book illustrator and designer who has worked on everything from children’s stories to user interface designs for patient monitors.  More importantly, I am the mom to 2 little boys.  I have spent years teaching my children to take their problems apart and rebuild them until they find a solution, to go outside and get dirty, and to use their brains and their bodies to make the world a better place for everybody. I want kids to see that there is more to their world; and that they can build great things and be great things when imagination meets know-how.  I live in southern New Hampshire with my husband, 2 sons, 2 dogs, and a small army of chickens.  We all enjoy being outside, taking things apart, and making a proper mess.  Generally, in that order.

Jack Spellman

Jack loves drawing funny pictures that tell a good story. He has illustrated for children’s books, magazines, newspapers, and just for fun. When he’s not hard at work in the studio or watching Bill Murray movies, you can find him in the backyard with a very energetic and needy dog named Gus.
